Our high grade Diatomite can be incorporated into the production process of Catalysts. We offer a full range of mesh sizes and particle distribution ranges. Agricultural Applications
High performance soil amendments
Our materials have been added to condition soils, improve aeration and lawn nutrient uptake in football pitches and golf courses. We have experience in this area and can offer consultation services in product application.
Diahydro Growing Media
Over 7 years experience supplying D.E into the horticultural market. No natural product on the market can currently compete with our D.E in terms of Silica content and purity (96-98%) or Silica delivery/uptake by plants 18-20%. Inert insecticides
For over 8 years we have supplied the UK market with insecticide grade Diatomaceous earth for use as an inert, non chemical reaction pest control for use against ants, aphids and various other insects. Given the right granule size our material is also effective as a slug and snail repellent.
Grain Storage
When applied to grain such as barley, buckwheat, corn, wheat, oats, rice and rye amongst others our D.E is effective in reducing and even eliminating altogether ants, aphids, bollworm, salt marsh caterpillar, cockroach, cornworm, earwig, house fly, fruit fly, lead perforator, leaf hopper, lygus bug, mite, pink boll weevil, red spider mite, slugs, snail, termites, Japanese beetle (grub stage) and many other insects. We have over 3 years experience in this area and have been supplying the UK market since 2004. Diatomaceous Earth is an inert mineral with an acceptable Safety profile for this application.
